During the transition to LXQt, we have received mixed feedback about Lubuntu’s perceived direction going forward, so we decided it would be good to make a blog post explaining what’s been happening during the transition, and where our focus will be.

Thanks to all the hard work from our contributors, Lubuntu 18.04 LTS has been released! With the codename Bionic Beaver, Lubuntu 18.04 LTS is the 14th release of Lubuntu, with support until April of 2021.
Lubuntu Bionic Beaver Final Beta (soon to be 18.04) has been released!
