IRC

Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a form of real-time Internet chat. It is mainly designed for group (many-to-many) communication in discussion forums called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication via private message. If you need help on using IRC please read this (if you don’t have an IRC chat app installed, you can use the  Webchat links instead). Lubuntu related channels are:

#lubuntu
General help main channel

Matrix / Riot

Matrix is an open standard for interoperable, decentralised, real-time communication over IP. It can be used to power Instant Messaging, VoIP / WebRTC signalling, Internet of Things communication, etc. We use the decentralised room Riot chat app, running on Disroot servers.

Note: this channel is bridged to Telegram & Matrix devel channels, and logged in Ubuntu Logs server.

AskUbuntu

AskUbuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers (with a handy Lubuntu tag ready to search for). Join them; it only takes a minute.
